How Do I Sell My House Without An Agent in Austin?
There are several ways to avoid paying high commissions in your Austin Texas sale.
First, you need to know how the broker’s commission is shared in a typical real estate transaction.
In most sales in Austin, roughly half of the commission you pay as the seller goes to pay for the buyer’s broker. Sure, there is no set rate or commission allowed but wouldn’t you want to keep as much of money on your side of the transaction sheet?
Doesn’t make much sense, right?
Why should you pay for the buyer’s agent on the other side of the table?

You can use that to your advantage in a few ways when looking at your selling options.
